Telepsychology Updates/COVID-19 - CORE

This 2-hour presentation offers updates to the 2015 Telepsychology webinar series offered through the Trust. Topics include the use of telepsychology in the context of COVID-19, as well as general recent technology updates. The presenters discuss themes of adapting a home office, helping clients negotiate care in the home, technology selection, client selection, emergency management, and remote intakes and assessment. The presenters discuss the rapidly changing landscape of regulation related to telepsychology in areas such as managing interjurisdictional practice, billing, and others. A Trust Risk Manager reviews several challenging areas of changing practice standards in the context of COVID-19 and guides the viewer in methods of risk mitigation.
